Roof inspections & maintenance questions
How often should my roof be checked?
Every couple of years is sensible, and after any big storm. Gutters under trees may need clearing every year.
Do you pressure wash roofs?
We don't recommend it. Pressure washing can strip the surface of tiles and force water under them. We remove moss by hand instead.
Can you inspect a roof before I buy a house?
Yes. We'll give you photos and an honest view of the roof's condition, so you know what you're buying.
Will moss come back?
In time, especially under trees. Regular clearing keeps it from getting thick enough to lift tiles or block the gutters.
