Flat roofing in Camberley

Flat roofs that don't hold water.

Most flat roof leaks come from the same few things: a deck that's gone soft, falls that let water pond, or tired edges and upstands. Patching the surface doesn't fix any of them, so when we replace a flat roof we take it back to the joists, check them, and lay a new deck with the right falls before the waterproofing goes on.

We fit torch-on mineral felt systems, EPDM rubber and GRP fibreglass. Each has its place, and we'll recommend the one that suits the roof, how it's used and your budget, and explain why.

Flat roofing questions

Felt, rubber or GRP: which flat roof is best?

Torch-on felt is tough and good value. EPDM rubber is a single sheet with no joints on most roofs. GRP fibreglass gives a hard, walkable finish that suits balconies. We'll recommend one based on your roof.

How long does a flat roof replacement take?

A single garage is usually one to two days. A larger extension roof or a dormer can take a little longer, especially if the joists need work.

Can my flat roof be repaired instead?

If the deck is sound and the problem is local, yes. If the boards are soft or water ponds across the roof, a repair won't last and we'll tell you so.

Can you add insulation to a flat roof?

Yes. We can build it as a warm roof with insulation boards on top of the deck, which also helps stop condensation underneath.

Do you quote for free?

Yes. Call 07857 097157 or send a few photos through the form.
